The gym of the 1930s brick building that was formerly Lakewood High School was renovated by Seven Generations Education Institute into a multi-purpose conference venue. The centre exhibits excellent acoustics and as such has become a community venue for conferences, seminars and performances. It features retractable seating for 220 with more seating at tables on the main floor. An upper mezzanine seating and dining level tops out capacity at 400. A state-of-the-art sound system was also installed. The former gymnasium windows, installed in the late 1950s, were uncovered to provide a sun-filled environment with the ability to raise or lower the blinds.
